Today in class we read and responded to a Newsela article called "Dr Google". I learned that a lot of people go to the internet to look up symptoms they're having when they're sick and i'm not the only one who does that. I did not enjoy this assignment because I'm not a fan of the Newsela articles because they just feel like busy work. Today i'm feeling ok but I have a really bad headache so that's not cool. 

 Today in class we started reading Fences by August Wilson. I thought this play so far was very interesting and really displayed gender roles and social hierarchy. I liked this reading because I loved learning more about what times used to be like. Today I am feeling good. I had my senior meeting and am very happy with how that went.

 Today in class we wrote two paragraphs about the first 6 weeks of senior year. I found this assignment very challenging because having to use 7 of the vocab words was hard to fit into my experience. I didn't like this assignment very much because it stressed me out. Today i'm feeling ok, but very tired. I'm ready to go home and go to sleep and take an advil because my head hurts.

 Today in class we wrote 15 vocab words and wrote our own original sentence for each. From this, I learned the meaning of a lot of new words I would not have known prior. I was not a fan of this assignment because it had a lot of writing and it made my hand hurt after a while. Today i'm very tired and I want to go home. I have work tonight which I'm not excited for but at least im making money.

 Today in class we finished and discussed the questions for the essay we read yesterday. I thought this was interesting because it was cool to see different peoples perspective on it. I enjoyed this assignment because I am very interested in gender roles and why things are the way they are. Today I am feeling alright. I have a doctors appointment to discuss possible meds for my ADHD and we are going to get accomodations soon so that's nice.

 Today in class we took a quiz and finished presentations. I learned that I need to study more for the next quiz because while I knew most of the content I didn't know all of it. I enjoyed the rest of the presentations because I liked learning about other people. Today I am feeling super tired. I have to work tonight and I really really don't want to.

 Today in class we presented our life story maps. I was really nervous because I hate presenting projects to the class. I did learn though that if I don't think about it too much I can kind of cool off and chill out. I did not like presenting because it just invokes a lot of anxiety within me. Today i'm feeling really tired and hungry. I have to work tonight which i'm not excited about but it is what it is.

 Today in class we finished our life story maps, or in my case, started because I wasn't here Friday. From this I honestly learned more about myself because it allowed me to think deeper about myself and my past which I found really cool. I liked this assignment because it was fun and simple and I got to make something cool out of it. Today I'm feeling good! I'm back from being sick so I'm in a great mood and I get to work with my best friend Ashley (who is sitting right next to me and told me to say this) tomorrow so i'm excited.
