Newsela

Today in class we read and responded to a Newsela article called "Dr Google". I learned that a lot of people go to the internet to look up symptoms they're having when they're sick and i'm not the only one who does that. I did not enjoy this assignment because I'm not a fan of the Newsela articles because they just feel like busy work. Today i'm feeling ok but I have a really bad headache so that's not cool.

 I think as an adult I will prefer suburban life. I really like places that don't have too much going on and are very peaceful. The suburbs still have schools so I shouldn't have to travel too far to get to work. I would prefer to be able to raise a family in a safer area outside of the city.

3/20 Based on the two informational passages that you've read thus far this week, write about how you will personally strive to avoid student loan debt?

 I will try to avoid student debt by choosing a school that offers the lowest price for what I want to pursue. It isn't worth taking on a bunch of student loans to start in a field that makes very little money after college. I also plan to do a five year program that allows me to immediately graduate with a masters in teaching after 5 years of college.
