A place I never wanted to leave

I never wanted to leave my bed. This morning when I woke up, I was so tired and I wished I could just stay curled up forever. My bed is always the most comfortable in the mornings when I have things to do, especially on school days. Getting out of bed is always hard for me because I am someone who really values my comfort. If I could bring my bed to school with me I would.

Today in class we learned a bit about Indian culture. We learned that they eat with their hands and do a little head wobble as a sign of respect, gratitude, or understanding. I learned that their culture is very different from ours. But in being different, it's really cool because they do things I never would have thought of.

Write a blog post reflecting on a time when you or someone you know was misunderstood because of a single story. How can limiting ourselves to one perspective be harmful? What can we do to make sure we see people and cultures more fully?

Write about a time when your failure was necessary for your growth. Examples of failures could be failing a major exam, failure to make a team, failure in a relationship, etc.
