3/28 What are some common stereotypes that you believed about high school students? How true or not true are these stereotypes?

I believed high school students were lazy and thought smart people were weird. This however, is not at all true. Some of the most popular people in school are the smartest people you'll meet. I think this is really interesting because this is not how high school students are portrayed in society.

Write about a time when your failure was necessary for your growth. Examples of failures could be failing a major exam, failure to make a team, failure in a relationship, etc.

One time a failure was necessary for my growth is when I was in middle school and my mom was directing Matilda the Musical and I didn't get cast. This made me want to work really really hard and I developed a love for the show and now I am playing Matilda this year! Today in class we finished up the questions for the Yellow Wallpaper and I finished with time to spare! That was really nice.

A life skill I have learned in highschool that will help me in real life

One life skill I have learned in High school is how to take accountability. We are responsible for our own work and don't really have people breathing down our backs which I think is going to help all of us in the long run. Today in class we did a NewsELA assignment. It was pretty easy overall.
