 Mastering vocabulary can impact my daily communication and academic success because it helps to expand my knowledge. I can sound more sophisticated when talking to people of a higher level, and it will increase the quality of my academic outputs. 

Today in class we completed Vocab lesson 14. It was pretty quick and easy which is always nice.

Last year, people were mean to my sister because they thought she was mean to this other girl, when in reality she had just been standing up for herself. Write about a time when your failure was necessary for your growth. Examples of failures could be failing a major exam, failure to make a team, failure in a relationship, etc.

 One time a failure was necessary for my growth is when I was in middle school and my mom was directing Matilda the Musical and I didn't get cast. This made me want to work really really hard and I developed a love for the show and now I am playing Matilda this year!   Today in class we finished up the questions for the Yellow Wallpaper and I finished with time to spare! That was really nice.
