How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

I honestly have a hard time enjoying my day when theres a lot going on, but I am able to do a few things. Some things I do is take a deep breath, remind myself of anything I have going for me, and most importantly take breaks.  Today in class we finished up the one pager. I think I did pretty well on it.

Write about what you remember or have been told about the day you were born. What were the emotions or events surrounding it? Do you relate more to "Infant Joy" or "Infant Sorrow"?

I don't remember having been told much about the day I was born, the only thing I know Is I was supposed to be born 7/7/07 but instead I was born 7/17/07. So naturally 7 is my lucky number. I think the day was very joyous as I was a pretty happy kid.  Today in class we worked on a one pager. I like this kind of assignment because it is nice and simple but also effective.

After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you

I believe rainbows are the most beautiful creation. Not only what they look like, but also what they symbolize. Especially to my family, when we see a rainbow it makes us think of those who have passed on. It's almost like a bridge.  I was not in class today but we completed a common lit assignment on The Tyger.

Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you."

Every year, I look forward to Passover the most. Passover is filled with lots of good food but also there's a group of us that get together every year to celebrate. It's one of the only times we are all together and it's so much fun to see my family friends.  In class today we took the multicultural Literature CFA. I got a 100!

What steps can you take now to prepare for a career that pays more than minimum wage? Think about education, skill-building, job research, and networking. Which steps are most important for you right now?

You can try to get a good education after high school, but you can also make sure that you build certain skills for yourself, and find a good job that matches your skill set. You can also try to utilize resources around you in order to move higher up on  the job ladder.  In class today we watched a video on a woman who makes minimum wage and responded to the questions that accompanied it. I think the video was really eye opening because it shows you just how little some people in the country make.

Write about what you did over spring break

At the beginning of spring break I stayed in a yurt at stone mountain. This was really fun but it rained the whole time so we weren't able to do much. We were there Sunday-Tuesday. Tuesday night I had work and I worked the rest of the week. I probably only made about $200 for the whole week but at least it's something. Today in class we did some career research. This was very helpful because it gave us more information on things we were interested in.

Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

Something I have outgrown but still miss is activity books. Specifically princess ones that would have coloring sheets, word searches, connect the dots, and things like that. I remember absolutely loving them as a child.  Today in class we did a vocabulary assignment. It took a while to do but overall it wasn't bad.
